Why listening to 'sad' music helps
According to the 'The Just Girl Project Official on Instagram (go follow them) - it helps to listen to sad music.
I have to say - I mostly agree with them.
When I feel sad - and that's quite a lot - sad music really helps me to understand my feelings, process and channel them.
Some days listening to sad music sooths me, other days it makes me cry. But some times sad music ennervates me, it can even make me angry. Those days I know I need uptempo, rap or rock (I'm mostly a pop kind of girl), music I can let all the anger out on. And some days music isn't a good idea at all.
This is what I listen to - depending on how I'm feeling:
- Demi Lovato
- P!nk
- The Script
- Westlife
- Disney
- Dean Lewis
- Taylor Swift
- Panic! at The Disco
